The design goal

L•TOP is designed to look like a world from a modern science-fiction game—and remain useful enough that a knowledgeable viewer can read the health and activity of the Mac simply by watching it.
Visual effects are not filler. Height, color, direction, intensity, velocity, and rhythm correspond to real measurements. When data is unavailable, the world says so instead of inventing an answer.
Every core rises from the silicon as a living instrument. Performance and Efficiency cores keep distinct identities while their activity converges into one readable view of the processor.
